Learn about hope, resilience, inclusion and empathy through various art forms.
Incorporate these avenues of integration through workshops and curricular materials that are representative and inclusive of all learners.
These themes will be explored with an emphasis on Social Emotional Learning.
All elementary and secondary classroom teachers, administrators, arts educators and artists are invited to participate in the Second Annual Manchester Choral Society Integrated Arts Conference and Children's Arts Festival. MCS has partnered with the Manchester Community Music School to offer this one-day event. Participants will experience continuing education workshops and 8 hours of professional development through the hands-on, cognitive power of the arts.
Manchester area students in grades 4-8 are invited to participate in the Children's Art Festival. Students will have music rehearsals with festival choral director Krystal Morin as well as visual art projects, theater activities and movement. The day concludes with a collaborative concert and exhibition of learning! Students do not pay a separate fee for this chorus festival, it is included in the teacher participation fee.

Important Details
Cost: $95 includes workshops, conference materials, lunch for teachers and student registration fee (students will bring a bag lunch)
Students do not pay a separate fee for this chorus festival, it is included in the teacher participation fee
